I wanted to make another little cat planter, but this time with a softer look.
So I chose a calico pattern, placing each patch one by one until it felt balanced.
The round shape took a bit of adjusting.
I like when it looks full and steady, like it can actually hold something.
Then I worked on the succulents.
Different shapes, slightly different greens — that part always feels a bit like arranging a tiny garden.
The sleepy face came last.
I wanted it to feel calm, like it’s just sitting there, enjoying the quiet.
When everything came together, it felt simple but complete.
If you’re looking for something small, soft, and truly handmade, this little calico cat planter might be just for you.
