Sunny Little Trouble - Handmade Crochet Orange Tabby Cat Basket

I made this one because I kept thinking about how curious orange cats always feel.

So I chose a small tabby, with those soft stripes across the head.
I spent a bit of time getting the pattern right, just enough to make it feel alive.

The basket was simple, something steady for the cat to lean on.

Then I added the trailing leaves.
They’re shaped like little hearts, and I let them fall naturally instead of lining them up too neatly.

The cat came last.
I gave it that slightly alert look, like it just noticed something.

When it was done, it felt a bit more playful than the others.

I like pieces like this.
