Buttermilk Sunflower Snooze - Handmade Crochet Siamese Cat Basket

I made this one on a day I wanted something a little brighter.

So I chose a Siamese cat this time.
I like how the darker face and ears stand out against the soft body.

The basket came together pretty quickly, but the flowers took more time.
I made each little sunflower separately, then arranged them until it felt balanced.

That part felt almost like decorating, not just crocheting.

When I placed the cat on top, it looked completely relaxed.
Like it had found the warmest spot and didn’t plan on moving.

I like how this one turned out.
It feels a bit more cheerful than the others.
